It took over four years to raise $30,000 for Boone Watershed Partnership to pay for the design and materials to build a bridge with volunteer labor that will link the wetlands area to the woodlands hiking trail across Sinking Creek.
A 20′ x 30′ outdoor classroom with a living roof placed near the wetlands similar to the image below is estimated to cost at least another $25,000.
